绘本故事 / Picture Story (pre-k, SS1) $120
By studying nursery rhymes, short Picture Book stories, students learn and review some of the most commonly used words and get familiar with the correct order of writing strokes.

This summer class is aimed at children aged 7-8 years old. By studying children songs, and stories, the skills for reading comprehension and oral Chinese expression are cultivated. It also cultivates observation and memory of children, helps them grasp the phonetic meaning of words, and improves their ability to recognize words. Through the method of the question and answer, students learned about quantifiers, animals, characters, punctuation marks, Chinese culture, life principles and so on.
成语和故事（双双3-6) / Idiom and Story (SS3-6） $120
The Chinese culture has a long history and is profound, and the idiom story is an important part of the essence of Chinese culture. This class allows children to learn 2 idioms and the historical stories behind each week, expand Chinese vocabulary, and understand the meaning of idioms from a cognitive perspective. The fun game courseware of the online class and the vivid explanation by the teacher will let the children experience the fun of learning and using idioms!
西游记故事（双双3-6) / Journey to the West (SS3-6) $120
This course selects 10 short stories from the stories of the classic, Journey to the West, and learns 2 short stories every week to improve Chinese reading comprehension and listening and speaking skills. The class will have a wealth of classroom activities, such as watching and discussing short Journey to the West video stories, dubbing Journey to the West videos, collective story solitaire, looking at picture story fragments and other game courseware activities to enhance understanding of Chinese classics and improve their Interest in learning Chinese!

Through PPT, small videos, discussions and classroom exercises, this class introduces the daily life of most Chinese people in clothing, food, housing, transportation and leisure, and answers some questions about the relevant aspects of students. The content will include many topics. When to wear what clothing? What are the characteristics of different places? When traveling to China, which dishes, specialty staple foods, and well-known snacks are considered worthwhile? There are many kinds of Chinese residential houses: tongzi building, tower building, courtyard house, hanging foot building, earth building, cave dwelling ... who lives in it? Why do people love to dry their clothes outside? I heard that Chinese people used to ride bicycles. How do people commute to get off work and school? What would it feel like to take the bus, subway and high-speed rail there? The vast majority of Chinese people do not have a checkbook at home, but some elders actually scan their codes to give their children money. why? Chinese people also like online shopping, what do they buy? How many days can I receive the goods? How do Chinese people spend their leisure time? What does the daily life of Chinese students look like?

Java Programming, Beginner (11+ years old) $120
This course introduces students age 11 and up to programming with Java, a programming language that is known to be easy to use and easy to learn. Students will be taught programming fundamentals, then practice their skills by programming games, one of Java's primary strengths.
Students who take this course must have access to a computer with internet connection.
Rubik’s Cube (8 years old or above) $120
The goal of this beginner course is to teach the basics of the Rubik’s Cube, starting from understanding the different pieces in a cube, going all the way to final layer strategies. Each class will focus on one simple step in solving the cube, with plenty of time spent practicing and racing against your own personal time. Everyone needs to have their own Rubik’s Cube, and having a “speed cube” is preferred. The class might be challenging at first, however the satisfaction and bragging rights which come with knowing how to solve a Rubik’s Cube will stick with you for the rest of your life!rn
Python Programming, Beginner (11+ years old) $120
This course will introduce students age 11 and up to programming with Python, one of the simplest programming languages. Python is a scripting language intended primarily for scientists but is capable of performing any computer-related task. Over the course of the semester, students are taught programming fundamentals which they will use to program a simple game of their choice in Python. The skills taught in this course will prepare students for scientific and mathematical programming, but they may choose to delve deeper into computer programming as well. Students who register for this course must have access to a computer with internet connection.
