Course Introduction

密尔本华夏中文学校暑期上课时间从6月29日开始，到7月31日结束，共五周时间。课程将安排在每周的星期一到星期四的上午10:00到11:40（两节45分钟的课加上10分钟课间休息）或者下午1:30到3:10。每门课将一周上两次课，比如在星期一和星期三或者在星期二和星期四上课，所有老师通过Zoom上课。 暑期中文课不使用双双教材，我们的中文老师会根据学生的不同级别设计新的上课内容。除了中文课外，我们还开设了数学，编程，LEGO Robotics，西班牙语，英语辩论，绘画，棋类以及运动课。我们希望学生们即使待在家里，也能学会新的知识和技能。 暑假课的学费是一门中文课$150美元（每周四节45分钟课时，共五周）。其他课目的学费和中文课类似（根据上课次数为$80/$100或者$150），老年英语课免费。正式注册时间将从六月四日开始。 学费的支付方式将使用Zelle或者支票付款，目前大多数银行都支持使用Zelle。具体方式如下。 欢迎大家加入我们的暑假夏令营！ 密尔本华夏中文学校 The MIOT summer school starts from June 29th to July 31st, five weeks in total. We will have classes from Monday to Thursday during 10:00 to 11:40 in the morning (two 45 minutes classes with 10 minutes break) or 13:30 to 15:10 in the afternoon. Each class will be taught twice a week, either on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. All classes will be taught online with Zoom and we cap the class size at 10. We do not use the Shuangshuang curriculum for summer class. Our Chinese teachers will redesign course curriculum based on student students’ levels. Besides Chinese classes, we will also have other classes such as Math, Coding, Lego Robotics, English Debate, Painting, Chess and Sports. The tuition fee for the summer class is $150 for one Chinese course (four 45-minute sessions per week for five weeks). The tuition fees for other courses are similar to Chinese classes ($80/$100 or $150 depending on the number of sessions), and senior English class is free.
